AUDITION DATES: Aug. 25 & 26 beginning at 7pm with callbacks on Aug. 27 (if needed)

CASTING: 7 men, 3 women, 6–20 ensemble members. Due to the content of this show, actors must be 16+ years old. Genders are as defined by the playwrights. Community Players takes an inclusive stance towards casting.

PRODUCTION DATES: Oct. 24-26 & Oct. 31–Nov. 2, 2025

ABOUT THE SHOW: On the hunt for a corrupt judge who stole his wife, wrongfully banished barber Sweeney Todd will stop at nothing for vengeance, so he forms an unlikely partnership with Mrs. Lovett, who serves up the worst pies in 19th century London underneath his former shop. Together, they wreak havoc on Fleet Street and serve up the hottest—and most unsettling—pies in London.

WHAT TO DO: Those auditioning will be asked to read a cutting from the script and prepare a 16– to 24–bar cut of a musical theatre selection of your choosing. Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided.
